EFI NOZOMI C18000

The Nozomi C18000 is a high speed direct-to-board digital printing press for corrugated packaging and displays. The ultra-high-speed press is revolutionizing the digital corrugated packaging space because of its ability to produce near litho laminated high-quality and detail while significantly reducing lead times. The Nozomi can produce on-demand, cost-effective proofs and full production orders by utilizing EFI’s groundbreaking LED inkjet technology to print direct to substrate. This allows customers to submit last-minute edits, multiple proof requests, and versioned jobs. The Nozomi’s LED imaging capabilities provide brilliant, high-end graphics and full-color that can match brand colors accurately without the complexities of other printing processes. Ability to produce high-quality imaging on just about any board substrate, including traditional Kemi, model, bleach and kraft materials.

  • Handles board thicknesses from 14-point cardstock and corrugated flutes: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, N, O, AB, AC, BC, EB, EF, and triple wall
  • In-line active monitoring of print dynamics and image diagnostics of 
  • 100% in-line, post print, quality inspection for image defects
  • Camera system for remote monitoring of complete printing process to optimize print quality in real-time
  • Tunable thresholds on quality inspection system permit rejection of failed sheets due to board or print defects
